It keeps the KIPS valves from over rotating closed. Can make it a little tougher to kick, but not bad. It does make the power come on sooner it seems.

Don't forget to reset the governor arm!!!

  :? I simply posted a drawing for those who want to make them. ALL the rest you can find by looking at the endless amount of chat on this subject. I did not expect this to turn into a 3 page thread! Just was expecting someone to correct me on my measurements. But your probably talking thousandths of a mm so I think that the demensions are correct. Thanks for the pic kaw, thats the first phisical representation I have seen of what these are supposed to look like. I am thinking of making a run of these myself with low socket cap bolts. It's gonna be a while so don't ask me for one yet!  :lol:

I believe that you need to set the govener arm up with the stock kips bolt and then install the new bolt for it to work properly.
