Can anyone tell me the thread size for a flywheel puller for a US spec KX500 1989 model.

I have a 27x1 mm L/H thread but that does not fit.

Not sure on the number, will have a look tomorrow, certainly looks similar.

Shouldn't be any different. I've got an 87 and a 93 and both use the same puller. I'll look and see if I can figure out the thread count and size on my puller. Bought it 15 years ago and it has worked on every flywheel I've ever had to pull.

Your threads may be messed up and you may have to chase the first thread or so with a thread file or a tap.Thread files are a great addition to the tool box.CBX
