seff23:
so i took my 500 out for a ride last weekend and the crank pin bearing seized up on me :( i guess it was about time though its the factory bottom end from 98 and had about 5 new top ends on it, so my question is does any one know a good shop in florida that can do my crank or am i better off sending it off somewhere??? i live in lakeland half way between tampa and orlando

RoostDaddy:
Falicon is in Clearwater and has been in the crank business for years.  They do top-notch work, I'd give them a call.

thanks!!

So i got it all apart today and found out a tiny screw that holds down the reeds backed out and got wedged between the case and the crank, everything still looks good other then a little dent on the crank and case and theres no play in the bearing, so what do you guys think? should i go ahead and but it back together or send the crank off for a new bearing since i got it a part anyways??

kaw rider:
what reedcage are you running.
