Howzit?
Probably kinda a stupid question, but where can someone get the Kawasaki "Lime Green" paint for the frame? I need to repaint my frame cause its in bad need of it. I'm not sure if I am going to do the green, or a black frame yet. I'm still trying to look at pics of KX's with the different colors, custom jobs people have done. This might make some kawi riders mad, but I was kinda thinking either a green or black frame, but having ALL the plastic WHITE. I have yet to see a KX with all white plastic...I just thought it would be "different". I love the look of either green, or black plastic, but the white.....Kinda thinkin I might do white plastic? Anyways, I'm rambling here...anyone know where to get the KX green paint? Or a green that's close?? Thanks fellas.

I bought the lime green high temp engine paint from VIP very close to the origional color and it's pretty tough.  I think I used 1.5-2 cans on my frame

PJ1 paint is found at most bike shops or it can be ordered from Parts Unlimited/Tucker Rocky.  Or you can do a search on the computer for exactly what your title says and you'll find results for this paint.  Probably the best OEM match.

If you're looking for a spray can.....

Dupli-color Grabber Green #DE1641

I think that is what I have at home that I used to cover a weld fab addition.

I found that grabber green was a little bright next to the factory color, I ordered some PJ1 paint from dennis kirk but I didn't see it offered anymore. Your dealer should have some though.

Dale

PS I reread your post... since you want to paint the whole frame grabber green could be a good choice, it will probably be cheaper.

I believe there are 2 greens kawasaki is using. There are Kawasaki lime green which looks more dark and its not used in racing machines ( color code 777) . And  the brighter color used in racing machines  is 617 green.

I know you were asking about spray paint but maybe you should think of sending it out for powder coat. i know it cost a few bucks more but last longer in the end..

I called PJ1 a few months ago and they told me the Kawasaki green has been discontinued.
