exhaust port duration formula

this is not to do with a kx 500. just coldnt find a catagory to put it. im am use a book called TWO STROKE TUNING BY A. Graham Bell. i am using the exhaust port duration fomula. my problem is where he get cos(0.22553) to = 77. i thought a cosine could never = more than 1. is this a printing error or am i being stupid :? any heplp withis would be greatly recieved

sorted, it should be inverse cosine. it is a miss print. if anyone has book look out for it
