Wrong brake disc
tschisi:
Hi guys!
I just got a 2000 kx250 front brake disc for my 1990 k5.
Ebay descriptions said it fits but it seems it doesn?t.
Looks like that:

The disc would be centered with the screws which are conical.
Also the caliper can be installed.
Would you mount that?
Guess i already know your answer...
jonny500:
russian rullete :-o i think . i have a couple of discs for your bike, i work on ebay. let me know and i will list 1 on there for you
regards
john
tschisi:
Thanks man, but i live in europe, would be too expensive.
Some other riders just told me to mount the disc and check it sometimes.
I don?t know if the disc is really the wrong disc, because the mounting holes and sice of the disc fit?!?!
:? :? :?

looks like you got a cheap price on a cheap product. i wouldn't buy a disc that doesn't mate up to the machined lip on the hub. some of the "wave" type rotors only have spokes that extend to the mounting point, but the good ones still mate to the lip. your friends are probably right, you should be ok to install that rotor as long as you check it after every ride.
