Yes Sir,
I`m one happy dude now.
I added a lil oil ta my forks and the left one has come apart.
The spring is not captured like the one on the right side.
Time ta learn how to take the forks apart and fix this.

Good times

crazyolbastard:
Tuck,
The advise you have never ends.
I checked my slide and there is a lil play when I wiggle it.
Seems like I may have to try a spare I have and swap out everything I have and give it another go.
Thanks but once again for your help.

Friar-Tuck:
 Hey Craz E,
If Both slides seem to have the same amount of play, it's probably the carb body...
There are lot's of guys who have gotten used to the "run on / surge" thing.   Since there is nothing being damaged
by the condition you could ride until you can put back enough dough for a new carb.
I haven't known any supplier to sell the body "New" without the slide and all.
Don't feel like the lone ranger on this one, I had ordered a whole new carb piece by piece before finally finding the above information.....  and that ended to be about half again what a new carb costs...
   Hang in there Bro!

crazyolbastard:
