A lil oil behind the stator

Hillclimb#42:
They weep. Thats not abnormal. Its kinda abnormal to look in there.  keep looking, if its not ripping, its not right on a 500.

crazyolbastard:
Thanks Hillclimber

BDI:
If there's oil then the seal is bad. As much as I'm for doing leak testing in your case I would not say it was necessary. We already know the hole thing needs to come appart. Leak testing it to look for cracks in the cases might not be a bad idea just so you don't get cought off by any surprises. I would leak test it after it was rebuilt, it's like patching a bicycle tube. First you dunk it to find the leak then you patch it and then you dunk it again to make sure you fixed it right. As for being lazy goes  :| I have found it to be more work when you don't do things the right way. Rebuilding engines twice is not only a lot of work It's also very costly but it is good practice.

I put a set of v-force reeds in and I can`t keep the front wheel on the ground.
She`s a whole differnt machine now.
I work an average of 55 hrs a week so after that I gotta rest when I can, so I`m a lil lazy after that.
Crazy is as crazy does.

Goat:
Running like a true 500 now. That's awesome. Enjoy the power. I can't get enough.
