My son wanted some "big bumps"
« on: April 30, 2010, 04:08:12 PM »
My 3 year old said "we need to make some new big bumps for us to jump Dad'.  So we drove the 15 minutes it takes to get to our property or "Grandma Therese's House".  At Grandma Therese's there is a big old International TD24 dozer that my Grandfather used for logging. I tried for 2 days to get it to start but it just would'nt run on diesel (it starts on gasoline then once it's warm you switch over to diesel). So I gave up.  I have a" little" dozer at my house but that means loading it up and driving with no commercial drivers license, no reg. on the truck, and 2 flat rear inside duals. So I load up the kids, the bikes, the dog and we head to Grandma's.

That is a massive old dozer! I'd have just as much fun on that as I do the K5 lol. It's great you got the kids out tearin it up. Someday I hope to have kids to teach how to ride.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.

Yah Goat,
That old dozer is massive. My grandpa bought it brand new back in 1956. When I was 4yrs. old I sat next to my grandpa on it as he built 12 miles of what is now the county road. It is so big that it can only get as close as about 100yards from the house or it starts to shake the drywall off.
