Hillclimbing in the News
« on: June 02, 2010, 08:26:51 AM »
Hey Guys,
Thought you may want to see one of my prouder moments. Rarely does Hillclimbing hit any news, magazine, or other media coverage, and I was very excited about a TV crew at the Hill for our last event. We thought it was a brief video for the Upcoming vote on Banning the Sales of Youth Atv and Motorcycles due to Lead content. It wound up being about youth hillclimbing and my girlfriend and her daughter were both interviewed. Working on some good footage that we got, but check out this killer TV story about it.  :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

The commercials were not my idea.

That's neat. And even a plug for the dirt track race. That is good news coverage.

Thanks guys. Its almost unheard of to get news coverage on Amatuer Off-road Anything. I am very appreciative that Scott England from Channel 17 made the effort to cover the story. So many people in a position to promote the off-road lifestyle, simply don't.
So far Monster Energy has been the only Major Sponsor to be at the Events. Thats the story behind my new gear.

Still working on getting the 500 dialed in. This thing can pull some serious gearing. Well you will see/ hear. 14-49 was too easy for the motor to turn. I am going with a 14-46 for the next race. Stay tuned...
