I ride a lot of tight trails and am running a 14/48 at this time.  I would like to go to a 50 rear for the type of riding I do maybe even a 52.    B.O.

Polar-Bus:
I've setteled in on 14/49 gearing. Good in the woods, acceleration will rip your arms out of their sockets, and top speed is still good. 14/47 stock gearing makes 1st gear a tad to "chuggy" and high geared, going slow in the technical stuff IMO..

cool man i appreciate it thank you all any other good places for some graphics or good aftermarket parts and can anyone tell me how hard is it to rebuild or beef up my motor or any hints on what i should look for that kinda stuff?

Stewart told me that 13 tooth will rub the case and to not go smaller than a 14 on the front.
