I have finally put my hand in my pocket and spent some cash

demographic:
In an effort to increase the frankly rather poor tank range my KX has on the road I have ordered a Clarke 4 gallon tank.

I got it in natural colour as this means I can see exactly how much petrol is in it and add the right amount of oil BEFORE I put petrol into it so the incoming petrol from the pump mixes it better.

I will put marks up the side to make it totally idiot proof, as with me it needs it.

Still keeping the standard tank for when it looks like I only need to ride for half an hour though   as the new one looks like the Matterhorn and might be a bit of a task climbing around

It will take a few weeks to get here from Clarke but I am one very happy chappy

Paul:
Congrats, I have that same tank and I motocross, desert race and hare & hound that thing. Honestly, I don't even notice it anymore

teamgreen500:
Smart purchase. I know that Paul and a few others in here are Big fans of the Clark tank and it's fit/finish.

Congrats...

Manny

Rick:
Now you can pass everything on the road INCLUDING the a few gas stations...

I was thinking about getting the IMS kit that uses the 250 shrouds but it's a hell of a lot of money to spend to be limited to what spannie will fit it.

Might just be tempted to pester Manny for one of those SR spannies in future
