I did strange things before.. This is just a new project.
I did a couple of years of moped dragracing. Used a Puch Maxi single speed engine.
Made a Kawa KX85 cilinder on the origanal engine. Did 0 to 60 miles in 6.7 seconds..
Used a 85 cilinder because of the regulations that it's max 80cc with the origenal stroke of the engine.
Puch stroke is 43mm and with the 48.5mm bore made it close to 80.

Engine with a Ignitech programable ignition.

Complete homemade cilinderhead.

Because of the huge transfers i needed to weld a 3cm thick plate on the engine.

Yesterday the cylinder returned from Powerseal. Powerseal in the Netherlands to be precise.
Looks nice...

Now it's time to put the engine back together and calculate and cast a new cylinderhead. Were are going to use a 10mm sparkplug to minimize the disturbance. And we make sure there is room for the decompression valve.

Question..
I need a exhaust. One that's good in midrange and top-end.
What to get?Huh
Low-end isn't that important. There wil be enough left to flip me over i think.  grin
