Its great to see so much info. available and people into their ride.My son bought an 03 K5 and really likes it,for the price& performance compared to other bikes they cant be beat.Plus with all the bad things you hear about a lot of these new bikes i think its one of the safest buys to not have major problems.we have other open bikes and the 500Kaw blows them all away.Ron

I'm going down to SoCAl in a couple a weeks to do a "Hole Shot" shoot out with a CR500RAF and a CRF500R(That's an Aluminum Framed CR500 and a "Big Bore" CRF...foder for the King!)...any takers?

Results will be honest and posted!

Just had to post in response to Ron's comments about the new bikes and the King5!

BTW, noone's got more talent than Danny Chandler ...nobody...

1983 Kent Howerton had the fastest bike,a SR(KX)500.At Carlsbad he had a 20" lead on every one going into the first turn, problem was he never let off and over shot the turn.So Magoo was now first, that is untill his bike ran out gas, forgot to turn it on.Now dead last he rides like the wild man he was to third place.Second moto he crashes and takes out six riders and destroys his works Honda. That was Magoo,he was eaither going to win,or you would see the most insane crashes from him giving it 200%!!!And forget Super-Moto of today, you had to see Magoo at the old super bikers race, wide open and sideways!!Got to love Magoo!
