Any cheap sprocket circlip replacements?

Dealer wants $5 a pop for these guys. I can only seem to get 2/3 sprocket changes out of each circlip and then they seem to be too far out of spec to really do their job.

Has anyone found a cheaper replacement?

What I usualy do is get the size and head down to the local hardware store, where they are way cheaper, and still do the job nice. I usualy end up paying under a dollar for them.
