New member but not a new rider
« on: October 12, 2009, 06:05:57 AM »
Hi guys, thought I would tell you a little about myself. I started riding on a Bonanza minibike at age 6. I started racing in early 70 or late 69 on a Kawasaki G3 100. Ive been riding and racing ever since, Ive quit this sport at least 100 times but it gets under your skin and I know I'm helplessly addicted. Right now I have a 03 KX500 on its way from Houston should be here next week, I also have a 83 Honda CR480 scattered all over my garage but it'll be done, full restoration, by March. Ive owned over 40 bikes in the last 40 years including 2 other KX500's. KX's, CR's (including a CR500AF, AJ the guy who builds them is a long time friend, I was at his house discussing my KX500 Saturday) Husky's, Maico's etc etc. My only claim to fame is I was a member of the Army MC Team in 78,79. Full ride from Suzuki and others, 6th place Dist 17 500cc MX in 95. I'll be at the RedBud Grass Race this Sunday the 18th.

Thorman, Glad to see you found us!
Snoop around a bit and I think you'll find this may not be the largest bike site on the web,
however the guys here are what makes this place great .
