is this a standard kx500 silencer?

hi guys

just wondering if my silencer is off a kx500,its what i got with the bike but doesnt resemble any other kx5 silencer i have seen looks too short :? and makes the bike sound a little offensive to say the least,also included a few pics of the bike finally getting it somewhere near.

Wow, thats a short silencer, Looks like someone cobbled a 125 silencer on. A K5 silencer should hang out almost to the end of the rear fender.

it is short i know  :lol:,but it fits straight on to the gnarly pipes the right diameter,shorly  if it was a 125 or 250 it would be to small to fit the front pipe,just curious to know if anyone can shed some light on it,eventually im gonna replace it,also with it being this short would it have any affect on the performance does anyone know?

i recently  bought a 88 for spares, it had a similar silencer, it looks like it is the standard part,
