What's turnaround time on this? Now it's nice out, I hate having the bike down for long.

MAil it out Monday and you should have it by the weekend.

Not quite that fast, but I try to do all the heads that arrive during the week on the weekend and ship back on Monday.

I had larry do a compression release for my 86 kx500 head about 4 months ago, and it was fast turn around time. He did a great job and looks like it was put there at the factory, and it does really help, although my 86 is still a bear to start, i think the jetting might be off a little, but wow i cant beleive the welding skill he has, He put the head on the lathe and lowered the squish band to a little, it looked so good, i didnt even want to put it on he motor, so shiny!!  like a kid at christmas time!  but it does really help out a lot, I have a 89 yz 490  and it is nowehwre is hard to start as my 86 kx500,

I sent Larry my head from a 1992 K5 that was in my opinion "Inoperable".  Had the piston rings go and destroyed my piston (obviously) cylinder and head.  I figured it was done for.  larry said to ship it to him and let him "Take a look".  I get a call a week later from Larry saying the head wasn't the "worst" he'd seen but it was fixed and equipped with a new compression release and it was shipping out later that day.
Great guy, easy to work with, REDICULOUS nice work.

Thank you again Larry, you were right I didn't believe it was my head at first.

What about a combo deal? Comp release and squish improvement?

Neither are stock, and both are great desert bikes.
