2000 kx250 rearfender mod

KevenW:
did y'all have to use the screws into the airbox to align the fender? i bolted my seat on after modding it this evening and tightened it down and it made my fender a little crooked to the right. loosened the seat and push on the flap part against the airbox and it looked like it lined up straight. need another person to eyeball it from a distance so i can put two screws in the airbox. may have to take some staples out and trim a little more of the seat. i think it's pressing on the fender some and pushing it out of alignment a little too.

KevenW...
Does the fender sit straight before the seat is bolted down?
Bolting the seat down should not change anything.
Sounds like you have more trimming on the seat to do!

KevenW:
Yeah brad it seems to til I put the seat on. Gonna trim more....

My fender looks straight to me.  Maybe your subframe is tweeked a little bit.  I haven't bolted mine to the airbox yet.  I may just leave it as is.  I have already ran one desert race since I put it on and it doesn't seem to move at all.

I used a Polisport fender.
