53 years old and starting over again in the dirtbike world. My 8 year old son became interested in bikes (KX65, new rider) and I wanted a bike to follow him around. 6 months later I have a garage full. Yesterday, I bought a 1986 very nice 500 because it was priced right. What an amazing bike! My CR500 feels safe in comparison, the KX hits the pipe early and keeps pulling. Do all KX500's have such a strong, early hit when the chamber kicks in?
