Looking for KX 500

I'd like to find a mid to late 90s KX 500. What should I look for when inspecting the bike? How much should I pay for an example in good condition? By good condition I mean something I can start up and ride now, but may need some TLC.

welcome !!

there are alot of threads about presale inspection,
most important is the gearbox must be  o.k. and overall state of the engine too,
no wear on linksystem,
overall state of maintenance, no rusty  :lol: chain f.e.
no  freeplay on shifter,
look if all bolts are tight ,rear sprocket bolts f.e.

dig in to the subject i,d say :-)
