new to the KX world

So far I'm really impressed by the knowledge within this forum and I look forward to contributing in anyway I can but for now my knowledge of 2 cycles is not up to par with many on this site. I'm based out of VA and my dream bike has always been either a cr or kx 500 so I finally found one on craigslist and other than the kick start being a total bear I love the bike.
Anyone that might have some pointers for an 86 regarding things I should check etc feel free to chime in.

Thanks. Nice looking rides btw. I might jump into the newer 500 in a while once I figure out the best year to buy. For now I just wanted the pucker fun I've always dreamed about when stretching out the Kx5 in a field.

sweet John. Sounds like alot of fun. Ironically I'll probably get most of my riding in during the winter months due to my moonbounce business. I try to schedule some weekends off in the summer so if you guys plan on something and give me a good month or two notice I should be able to meet up. Thanks for the welcome btw.
