Hello all- my name is Patrick, I'm 39 years old and am getting back into motocross after a 20 year hiatus. I currently own a 95 RM250 that I am nursing back to riding condition. I cut my teeth on KX's back in the 80's, riding/racing an 82 KX125 followed by an 84 KX250. I had a blast and fell in love with Team Green. Spent alot of my time riding tracks in Southern California (Indian Dunes mostly b4 the legal morons shut it down). My favorite was the Shadow Glen track...anyway, enough nostalgia. I got out of motocross for some unknown reason and am glad to be back in it!
I have lived a few doors down from Stewart and his big bore 500's for 7-8 years and just recently found out about it- WHO KNEW!!Anyway, thanks to Stewart, I went on my first ride in a LONG time the other day (see riding the chats) and had a blast! Looking forward to spending more time on the site and, while I realize I do own a Suzuki (and that may be a no-no) I do intend to get a KX at some point- just waiting for the opportunity to present itself. Glad to be back in the saddle after all these years!
