Help Please Carb problem

Hillclimb#42:
I lost a whole reed petal, and the bike started easy, idled, but would die if I gave it more than half throttle. It'd be worth checking them, if you are going to be pullling the carb.

ya i know its not normal for the vent hoses to leak ha. and the reeds are fine the bike runs great its just that when it is shut off it leaks fuel and it is im sure the float and float valve needle so when i get a chance i will pull it and check it again because i just twisted it side ways  last time.

thanks by those pics i know tha i put it in wrong i didnt hook the metal piece under valve on the tang part thanks.

From the statement above I think that the needle would stay closed and not open correctly. Correct / test ride and report back.
