klx frame????

so my friend has an 95 klx250r that he had as a back up bike, well it threw a timing chain and ate a few valves and the head, he said that he's not going to put anymore money into it, so he said he would let me have it for free and i was thinking about how good it handled on tight trails but was way underpowered, and since i can get it for free do you guy think i could squeeze a 500 in it and do you think its a good idea????

i don,t know the exact dimensions of the bike you talk about ,
but when an eventual kx500 motor has the same swingarm mount and dimensions ,
it should be doable ,if not ,better restore the 250 motor sitting in it now :wink:
