i did a fender mod myself once ,i got stuck with the fender/seat gap you have there too.
my solutions too it were :
got an old windsurfboard ? take one of the feet-straps off and mount it over the gap,side to side
like if the bike lays on the ground ,you can pic it up right there on the feetstrap/
but what i did was chop the tip off an old fender,
made it fit exact over the gap and one small parker to hold it ,
i even could store a few things in it,FE like an emergency sigaret and lighter :lol: :lol:

that would work really well im going to have to try it hmm i need to find an old fender first front or rear?

I was thinking that you could cut a half-moon shaped peice of 3/4" plywood to fit the gap then remove a few staples from the seat cover, tuck it inside and staple it backup. Then it would look like part of the seat. Cam.
