What premix ratio do you run?
Polar-Bus:
I used to be a Golden Spectro guy back in the 80's. Decent oil, decent protection, and the Spectro was cheap.
Now that I don't have to be so cost anal, I've been running Klotz R50 @ 42:1 for about the past 12 years. I am very impressed with this lube. The most impressive aspect is how clean my power valved engines look after a teardown. The key to telling superior oils from basic oils IMO is on piston wear at the exhaust and/or intake bridge. This is where pistons usually take a beating... with Klotz all's I ever see is a slight wear line.
I also run Klotz R50 (24:1) in my CR125 shifter kart (which see's sustained rpm's of 12,400 rpm's for 10 min. almost straight out. I did a top end inspection this winter, and everything looks great. I'm a Klotz guy to the death !

I ran and still run Bel-Ray MC1. I tried 100:1 and it did fine, but just felt strange using so little oil. So for peace of mind I ran 50:1 with no problems except locking a motor due to my own d**n fault at no fault on the oil mixture.
Billua:
I am running Amsoil at 50:1 per Stewart's recommendation and the thing runs and starts great!

I've been running Powerlube from AFT - Red Edmonston ,god rest his soul. I bought a drum of oil off of him before he sold the the formulation. I run it at 70-1.Before I ran Belray SI-7 50-1 never any problem, but when it comes down to it gotta love that smell of good ole Klotz Benol ,oh yea ZitTy recommends Motorex Racing Power at 50-1 He claims it's what most of the top MX teams are running now.
