and the fact that he likes the pc 2 with out telling us why is useless too.

i think he is saying that the k5 likes a longer section before the divergent cone section but that's not very clear. how much dose it like, how much more dose the pc 2 have over the pc platinum or other pipes? non of his info helps me decide if one pipe favors the mid and upper rmp range over  another pipe. and if he is saying that the pc 2 is better for mid/top why would pro circuit have this in the description of the pc 2.
quot from pc web site

--- Quote ---The Platinum 2 pipe was made for people who ride or race off-road. Constructed from heavy-duty 18- gauge metal, it offers increased protection from rock or crash damage. Like the Platinum and Works pipe, the Platinum 2 offers incredible performance with substantial power gains in the low and mid range part of the powerband.

to me this sound like the pipe was designed for low to mid power not mid to top. maybe the dyno showed something different but i have not heard Stewart say that the pc 2 works better in the mid upper RPM than the other pipes, just that he like it.

if this answer does not suit your needs let  me know  i was not intending to give any one useless  info bob

Stewart is like a dictionary when it comes to the k5. Just ask him any ? and he has the answer. He is busy and has always made time for any ? i had. I just had to ask, in my opinion he did answer the ? that was originally asked in this thread. Some people just want more i guess.

maybe i came across as a but head and im sorry, i was just trying to dig up more info. the info that was posted seemed more like personal opinion, with no supporting facts. perhaps useless was a little extreme a term to use. Stewart please don't take offence to my post. i am not good at typing or spelling or grammar. some times its hard to ask the questions in my head because i cant put them in to words. i just wanted the info that brought you to like the pc 2.
