wheres the rush?
slow600:
found out today that kips opens smoothly with bike running. guess that leaves jetting.....which is no fun at all especially when its cold out.
DoldGuy:
and it is opening fully?? Did you check the center valve for play??
slow600:
it did open all the way with a healthy rev. i didnt feel any excessive play in it at all. pulled carb to verify jets, im currently running 168/58. how does that sound for approx 1300ft elevation? im debating whether to keep messing with it or wait till i purchase the new pipe/silencer and reeds.
newp500:
Make sure to check your float height. I had the same problem with a dead top end and it was the float height. A new float needle and I was good to go. Jetting was much easier after the change.
slow600:
ill check float height when i get the carb back on. i went ahead and bumped down to 165 main and put on new vent lines tonight.
