Local swapmeet find

RIP Danny Hamel

Was at a local swapmeet about 5 months ago... and noticed a KX seat pan in a box... went to pull it out and these are what folowed.... Guy needed money for tweek I think.... gave him $10 for the pair....   Guy said he had one of dannys ex bikes... but couldnt get much more out of him beyond that (too much tweek in the morning)...

Wow, you should frame those! Its a shame that he passed, he was one of my heros.

I my humble opinion Danny Hamel and Jeff Ward where two of the best factory KX500 racers. I remember watching Ward race at Hollister and Hangtown when they had a 500cc class. I dont even think he could touch the ground, he was just wide open.
