AUSK5 checking in, what differences over the model years

Hi guys, have been lurking for quite some time now signed up. Ride down south of Western Australia. Have a 04 KX 500 and I'll post some pics soon.

Can anyone list the changes over the years to the K5, minimul I know but some significant changes non the less.

 It's good to hear others are riding the  last year KX500. I really dont know the differences ,other the the colors of the tank,shrouds, and frame. But wanted you to know your thread was being read.
   Perhaps now, others will chime in and list the changes.

im in N.S.W and i have an 03. you will find that the fork colours are diff as well. i heard that there were a few suspension changes mid to late 90's, but as stated the changes were very subtle

Good to see another West Aussie on here. welcome. From what i remember there was a bit of a suspension change in 97? but thats about it. A search will probably reveal a bit.
