KX500freak:
forgive me if im wrong ,but did k5 had kips from 87 ??
so if so check that system ?
just thinkin out loud
fstkx500:
yes it does. thats kinda what was thinking. when i got her she was already taken apart and the dude before me didnt mark anything so i put them back in how i thought was right. does anyone now how they go back in on a 1987 K5?
KX500freak:
well i know this if the engine is running you could check up on them ,
from 88 up its possible to remove a little plastic cover at the right side.
then kick it and rev it while watching to the kips rod pulling out/in ..
if its working and correct it should blast ,
if not there,s your issue..
dunno much about adjustments or whatever but my both engines are revin the hell out so it very noticeable when kips is online :-D
fstkx500:
thanks but they move when u rev her up already checked that what im wonderin is there any timming marks on these things. and she smokes like a mother!!!!!
