Cobra, do you have any friends who are police?  Maybe you could have one of them measure your speed with radar.  How accurate is civilian gps at measuring groundspeed?

dsrtrider:
i have never measure my top speed.  i have a dry lake i have had it on and by the time i get to full speed my helmet feels like it will rip my head off and my vision gets blurry so i slow down.

I have some old magazine articles from desert champions(destry Abbott and Paul Krause) that i will find and post thier old setups if you want.  i can't post them until monday.

Is your compression good?  To new KX owners the KX will still feel powerful when it is down on compression but not really go very fast. Cam.
