older pipes on newer bikes

does anyone know if the pc platinum pipe for 87 model year will work on the 89-04 bikes? any help would be greatly appreciated. MADDOGGY

The 87 model pipe has a longer stringer section and is curved. The new pipes the stringer section is shorter and is straight and runs through the subframe. It's not going to bolt right on.
