Help smashed or melted spark plugs

Cool.  I never considered that the detonation force would close the gap but it the plug is hot enough it could. Good Info. Thanks. Cam.

You know the only reason the piston didn't have a hole clean through it was because the gap closed and the engine would no longer run. The girl who ownes this quad was determined to ride it back even if it would not go any faster then 5 mph. This was an extreme case of lean out. It's quit possible that there is something else wrong with BMHs bike but I would take the necessary steps to rule it out.
