thickness of moose spacer
porky:
Just had a thaught while i was at my friends engineering shop, writing code for his milling machine, and i spoted some alloy plate in different sizes on one of the racks. How thick are the Moose spacers? has anyone made there own or tried, does the power charecteristics change with the thickness.Im sure if i write the code for the milling machine he would let me cut as many as i want just for the price of the plate, and most of the plate was scrap.
alan:
When I put mine on I measured it and it was 0.408 jus a little over 3/8 of an inch!
I think I paid $35 for mine and even with a milling machine setting my shop it is just to cheep to worry about! If you got the time its a simple part to make! These days I mostly just buy stuff because I would rather be riding!

John:
I scanned the spacer before I mounted it on my bike. Just be patient, as soon as I'll find the picture I'll post it here. I will messure the thickness and post is (in milimeters) as well.
