congrats
about breaking in the bike
i know you must do a heatcycle 3 times
first time 10 min cool down
second 20 min then cooldown
3rd 20 min then cooldown
dont break it in like a sissy :-Ddont break it in @fullthrottle
have fun
ilovemybike:
is that just starting it and letting it idle or is that riding it????

you sure have to ride it :-)
but just not @ full throttle
more kind a playing around with the throttle till halfway
accelerate/decelerate shift a bit here&there
by the last cooldown everything is settled and you can haul
KXcam22:
When I heat cycle I just let it idle outside my shop until it heats up fully. I do that 6X before I ride it.
In the old days at the beginning of MX season we would have to show up at 1st race with new bikes not broken in. We would heat cycle them in the back of the truck while we were driving the 500miles to the race, then complete the break in in practise. cam.
