Hey all...new here.

Just wanted to say hello.

33 years old. Had a few CR's and KX's back in the day. Last year I had about 6 months on a 2002 CRF450....it was really nice...but I decided that a 500 2 stroke was MUCH easier to start after a stall and most of the time. ALso...I think the KX puts out about 10 more HP. The CRF required SO MUCH maintenance it was stupid unless you were a racer. I don't race. Just play. Live in Upstate, NY.

I own a 2003 KX500. Just picked it up all the way down in South Carolina. What a long drive from up here in NY (left at 7:30 PM Saturday and got to the bike at 1:30 PM on Sunday...drove without sleep). At the TOP of NY too! Right near Canada. My wife came for a ride down with me. After I picked it up...we headed STRAIGHT for a motel! I didn't wanna keep the bike out in the truck at the motel as I was in a strange town and a strange place. So.... I brought her in the motel room with us! Look....see?

There are a few other pics from the room at

The bike is stock but has a graphics kit that ain't sticking to well. I'll try to fix that soon.

Well...I'm getting ready for a ride!  Later!

Yeah I wish I lived farther south. Arizona have good hunting and fishing anywhere? Would be REAL NICE to live near GLAMIS! Selling my house next year too...gonna get out of this dead beat area.

rhinogrrrly...hahaa that's funny!

Not jealous...Just cautious...That beast would rip my arms off!   It's all in the throttle, though...I would have to use sparingly!   heeeheeeee

BTW-Arizona is beautiful...Good hunting (from what i hear) and good fishing (just went on Sunday!    )
Plus, the sunsets are to die for...Rain becomes a treat to get giggly about and you rush to load up the bike...

In Phoenix, you're two hours away from high country and pine trees...and 4 hours from sitting on white sand on the beaches of Mexico, sipping Corona...or glugging!  8)  And you're still fairly close to Glamis what...4-5 hours? Anyway...It is very beautiful with awesome riding available!

Thats right, 4 - 5 hours away from the big sand box. NOTHING on Earth pulls like a 5 hunny with a 10 blade 5.60X18 paddle on the back. Oh my shoulders ache just thinking about it

Welcome!

BTW, you can "Break" your K5 down and UPS it anywhere! I've even put bikes, in parts, in gear bags and "checked" them on airplanes as luggage (Pre-9/11).

A creative guy could ship his scoot out here for, I'm guessing, about $75-each direction, and sneak in some "Snow-bird" time in the desert! 3-4 boxes! The big brown TRUCK!

Get those plane tickets and your shipping forms out!

See you at Glamis!
BRRRRAAAPPPPPPP!
