L.A Sleeve

I was wondering if anyone here knew if the L.A Sleeve for the k5 needs to be plated or if it comes pre plated.  Any help would be great.

If your going to buy a sleeve, it is not plated, the sleeve will be an iron composition and can be bored. if you want plating, then take your cylinder and send it to one of the re-chromers such as US chrome, Millenium technoligies, lancourt, there are many

i personaly do not like resleeving unless i have to. you loose a good amount of heat ransfering ability
