Changing mix ratio=fouling plugs?

(1/2) > >>

Recently, I've switched from a 32:1 mix ratio to 40:1(kawi-chem).  In the tight stuff, I would load up, but would never completely foul my plugs.  Am I losing my mind or is it possible that the bike is running worse at 40:1?  I'm actually fouling plugs without any warning or ability to "open up" the bike.  I switched to the br8eix plugs and they appear to foul just as easy.  Has anyone experienced this? :?

Did it just sart doing it out of the blue?

fullbore55:
Yes, I thought that 40:1 would help from loading up.  Now I'm fouling plugs.  At 32:1, I wasn't fouling...

fullbore55:
I guess I could go back to 32:1 to see if there is an improvement, but this seems illogical.

Did the temp change any before you made the change.  I know my bike did not like the change to cooler weather and would not start for me at all undtil I made some jetting changes.
