Do not feel bad, I am on my third lever on my 99 kx500. Must be that last .020 off of the head I had to have. I tried calling BBR to see if they would build me a billet lever but no cigar. Kaw sells it only as the complete assy. with the knuckle for around $80.00.

You can get the lever for ~60 from a dealer in Florida.  I post the link when I find it.

can you tell me for what yr bike or part # that beefy starter lever is for, so i can be sure to get it instead of my stocker.? thanks, jdv
