250/500 conversion

Starting the project of putting 98 500 motor into 04 250. Any tips would be appreciated. Only concern I have really is with the exhaust. Was thinking of getting a cone pipe made up but the guy I had in mind is no longer doing it. I've heard of guys using cr500 pipes. Your thoughts.
