Eric Gorr big bores!

teamgreen500:
Maybe it's just me; But, why the HE!! would I want a big-bore rattle trap for a motor? I haven't riden ONE big-bore that didn't shake like thumper.

My motors get a P/C cylinder/head, split and matched cases, balanced crank and Voila! I've never lost a drag race and my motor rev's like a 250!

I just don't get it! It reminds me of a race in '98 (Vegas/Reno I think) when I was drag racing down a desert 2-track against Vanderpool and one of his big-bores. He got a little bit of a jump at first and 'GOOD-bye-big-bore' I was revin' right on...bye, bye.  :P

STOCK CYLINDER PUT ON THAT MORNING...Thanks Brasch!

I guess I just don't get it.

kawdude:
I totally agree...

Rick:
While I agree on the KX500, Honda, through Rick Petterson Motorsports, setup a CR265 big bore on a CR250 so my oldest could run in the Open Class.  And while it still handled like a CR (read really scarry and high speed), the motor job was simply amazing.  He raced it for the year, with narry a problem.  The next year went back to riding a Kawasaki.  Sponsorship was not as good, but the big KX simply handles better than ANYTHING else at high speed, and I hate taking risks at high speeds...

I'm still confused as to KXTaz's comments. Reading this again, it is just crazy, as I've since posting that reply have sent a 250 and another 125 motor there with great work, and from what I've heard, Kawdude had the same work done on his 500 as I did mine (except diffrent porting) and was happy. So, I'm thinking killerkx327
and KXTaz were just trolls. But wasn't killerkx327
from B&B racing? Oh well, so much for digging up old rotten bones.
