Will a KDX wheel fit on the 500?

I'm looking to go to a 18" rear wheel, and was curious if a newer model KDX 200 wheel would fit on to my '99 KX 500 since the KDX wheel is already an 18" wheel.  I know I can buy a rim and spokes and lace one up on my hub, but I'd rather just get a complete wheel.  Thanks for the help in advance guys!

i have used one on my 89.use the spacers off the kdx200.can't remember if they changed the axle size on the 99.they changed it on the 250's i believe.
