rear wheel interchange

I currently only have the stock 19" rear wheel for my 91' k5. can't fit a very big tire in the swing arm with that! looking at a complete 18" wheel and axle assembly to buy. the one i'm looking to buy is off a 90' k5. wondering if the older wheels will interchange. going to put a paddle on that 19"er and use that badboy @ st. anthony Idaho dunes in late june.

a wheel from an 88 all the way to 04 k5 will work, you'll need to use the wheel spacers for you year. In about 97 ish kawi started using 2 bearings on the sprocket side.
