NEW TO THE SITE & LOVE THE GREAT INFO. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF VALVING TO GO WITH. MORE FOR THE REAR I HAVE SOME INVERTED STUFF TO UP GRADE THE FRONT. THIS IS FOR WOODS RIDING.

Contact Race Tech I believe they have a gold valve kit for the 87 500 rear shock. Upgrading your front end will help. I swapped my 87 style front end for an 89 and it was a big help. Getting the correct springs for your weight is a plus.
