Few guy's on this site have 87 KX500's but the ones that do seem to be always looking for parts and specs. I put a few items together. I'll add thing as need. If you find a source for parts or info please feel free to tell me so it can get added to the list. Thanks.

I am a newbie with a 1987 KX500, so I am appreciating this BIG TIME!  :-D I also have some general basic questions about the flywheel/charging stator if you care to lend an ear 8-)

As a new 1987 k5 owner, thankyou.

MSR also sells the chain rollers for the 87. They are nice pieces. Sealed bearings to boot. I did find that I had to mix and match washers I had to get everything to look the way I wanted. I'll dig the boxes out tomorrow and post the part numbers.


Edit: here are the MSR part numbers for the rollers.. 41-3881.  Same nuber for upper and lower.
