dyno charts and pipes
Delusion65:
i am so frustrated trying to find dyno charts for KX500's on the web, i am trying to compare the different curves of pipes to find which one suites my needs, can anyone help me to find anything on the web as far as dyno's even a stock dyno would be nice, any help is greatley appreciated
John:
Yes, if anyone has got a dynchart, scan it in and publish it her on the site. It would be nice to be able to compare what different mods actually does to the bike... Unfortunatly I do not have a dynochart for my bike - yet.
Paul:
Hmmmm.... a powercurve would be nice.
I have two pipes (FMF Gnarly and FMF Fatty). One is for the track (Gnarly) and one is for everywhere else. The Fatty is just about the best all around pipe I've ever run - smooth power delivery, more bottom than the stock pipe, smooths the hit alittle, has a stronger mid than the stock BUT not as much topend power. The Gnarly is a beast on the bottom and into the midrange with less hit than the stocker and not as much topend BUT with the most bottom end I've seen in just a pipe change.
I have no experience with the ProCircuit pipes but have heard basicly the same thing as above about the PC MX and Desert.
MX = Gnarly
Desert = Fatty
Hope that can help you some but those dynocharts would be nice to see the effect of the pipes / modifications on the power curve / delivery.

Well although it's not complete for reasons discussed in the thread.
There is a dyno graph here

This bike isn't mine by the way, it belongs to another bloke off Visordown
seems pretty fit though :)
