Hello to all members. My name is Walter and my bike is a 1997 500. I'm stationed at Fort Benning, GA. I've been out of dirt riding for several years but I found the perfect machine (green) to jump right back in. I raced open class for many years in mid 80's, early 90's when these 500's ruled. (still do in my book). It's very funny I had completely forgotten had strong these bikes are and the respect they command.
No kiddin it took me a week to get the mile wide grin off my face after 1 trip through the gears.
