KX125 + KX500

Hi all,

I have a new KX125 and an old KX500. Checking both out, I came up with the great idea to put the 500 engine in the 125 frame :idea:   Has anyone done this before? It looks like the engine would fit. I don't know about the exhaust and carb though. There doesn?t seem to be a big difference except that the 125 has got the newer perimeter frame. I was just thinking if anyone has tried and could tell me the result so I don't have to...

I know someone has fitted the 500 in a 250 frame successfully so maybe?

Hmmmmmm!    This would be very nice if it would work.  I have also saw some 500's on 250 frames but not a 125 frame.  I would also like to know if anyone has tried it.
